Online and digital health and wellbeing services have seen a huge boom in recent years and especially so during lockdown. With thousands of apps available it can be hard to know who is trustworthy.
Derbyshire County Council has been working in partnership with ORCHA (The Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps) to develop a new digital apps library. Health and care professionals and patients can now search and download from 100s of quality assured health and wellbeing apps. It includes apps for child health also.
- All of the apps on the new library have undergone rigorous checks by ORCHA to ensure that they are of the highest possible quality
- All the apps have been reviewed against over 300 criteria including ease of use, clinical/professional assurance and data and privacy
- Apps include help with mental wellbeing, health lifestyles and even long-term condition management.
Visit the new website at https://derbyshire.orcha.co.uk/ and search and compare apps for free and feel assured that recommendations are safe.
