Jayne Horwich (f)

BA (Hon's) ENB A51 Specialist Practitioner (Practice Nursing), ENB D01 Promoting Health, Skills, Perspective and Practices, Family Planning Cert., Marie Curie Cancer Screening for Practice Nurses, Teaching, Learning and Assessing in Practice Settings, All statutory training up to date.

Jayne has worked at the Practice since 1987, initially as a Practice Nurse, but for the last 7 years as a Nurse Practitioner who sees patients with minor illness and chronic conditions, being able to prescribe for a range of conditions.

Zena Sharp (f)

Qualifications Dip. Nursing (Adult), Independent Nurse Prescriber,Zena

BSc (Hons) Specialist Community Practice,  Working towards MSc Advanced Practice

Zena has worked with the Park Medical Practice since 2001, initially as a Community Staff Nurse and then as District Nursing Sister.  Zena now works within the practice as a Nurse Practitioner with a particular focus on minor illnesses.

Mrs Joy Simpson (f)

Qualifications: RGN, Independent Nurse Prescriber, Dip in Diabetes management

Joy has held her RGN qualification since 1992. Is an experienced practice nurse having worked in several Derby city practices.  More recently working as a Diabetes Specialist nurse for Southern Derbyshire.

Joy is now working towards her Msc in Advanced practice and covers surgeries at the Chaddesden, Oakwood and University sites.

Mrs Laura Cremin (f)
Qualifications: RGN. Dip. Nursing (Adult) Independent Nurse Prescriber. Working towards MSc Advanced Practice.

Laura has recently joined the practice after working at the A&E department in Derby for 8 years. She has a vast experience with emergency care and looks forward to using this in the primary care setting.

When she is not working she enjoys cooking for friends & family and walks in the Peak District with her son and husband. 

Laura covers the University Site, Chaddesden and Borrowash.

Sally Rigg (f)

Sally performs general practice nurse duties and has a particular interest in Diabetes, COPD and travel health.

Over the last 17 years Sabina has worked in an hospital environment in Adult Medicine, Surgery and Orthopaedics and also in Paediatric Trauma and Medicine. She commenced employment with The Park Medical Practice in 2005 and currently works predominantly at the University branch of the practice.
