Youthhealthtalk enables young people, their family and friends, and professionals such as doctors and teachers to understand young people's experiences of health, illness and life in general. The website feature real-life accounts of issues such as effect on work and education, social life and relationships, consulting health professionals and treatment.

If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, or a loved one has, you’ll want a team of people in your corner supporting you every step of the way. Macmillan provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

The practice is fortunate in having a very active PPG. If you are interested in becoming involved please contact the Chairman, Colin Dorman, on 0844 477 3495.

There is a PPG notice board at our Borrowash Surgery.

 

NEW MEMBERS NEEDED

We are looking for more new members to join us. We meet every 4-6 weeks at the Chaddesden Surgery in the evening.

The group is made up of all different people of all ages from all walks of life. We particularly need people in the 20-35 ages range, but everyone is welcome. We currently have an age range of 15 to 80+ the group looks at current health issues and helps the practice plan future services.

If you do not have the time to attend meetings, we are setting up a virtual patient group, so you can join in the decision making process of the practice via email.

If you want to know more please complete one of the PPG cards and hand it in at reception. Someone will contact you.

We really appreciate your feedback both negative and positive. You can feedback to via the orange slips in the waiting rooms or via the website or via the nhs.Choices website. Please let us know what you think of the services we offer we do take patient feedback very seriously.
